Justin Fields

Five-star quarterback Justin Fields has made his commitment announcement. The nation's No. 1 recruit has selected the Georgia Bulldogs over Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and LSU at a pep rally at Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia.
The 6-foot-3, 221-pound dual-threat quarterback had been a Penn State commitment, but decommitted back during the early summer and reopened his recruitment on June 6th. Schools have been jockeying for his services since that date.
Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida and Florida State did what they could to woo Fields, but chose the Dogs over them all. He did take visits to every campus since his decommitment. The young man actually made two official visits to The Capstone, the second of which was the Alabama-Ole Miss contest.
