BROOKLYN, New York – The undefeated and 25th-ranked University of Alabama men's basketball team stayed among the ranks of the undefeated on Friday afternoon by rolling over BYU 71-59 in its first game of the Barclays Classic. The Crimson Tide moves to 5-0 on the season after defeating the Cougars yesterday on the campus of LIU Brooklyn in Brooklyn, New York. This is the best start to a season since Bama opened at 6-0 back in the 2012-13 campaign.

UA will be playing for the Barclays Classic's championship in the Barclays Center against 14th-ranked Minnesota on Saturday tonight.

Four players for the Tide reached double figures in the contest to beat the Cougars. Freshman John Petty led the Bama scoring, picking up a team-high of 16 points while converting on four-of-seven from three-point range. Junior Donta Hall added another 14 points while leading the team with nine rebounds.

Tide sophomore Dazon Ingram again stepped up big for Bama contributing 13 points, three rebounds and three assists while freshman Collin Sexton added 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists to the mix.

UA shot 49.1 percent from the field (27-of-55), including a whopping 60.0 percent in the first half alone. On the defensive end, Alabama knocked away six shots and stole six balls, and forced 11 turnovers.

Alabama men's basketball head coach Avery Johnson said, "We're a team that's capable of having four, five, six guys in double figures. Our teams has balance and quality depth. There may be some nights a guy may have to carry us the same way [Yoeli] Childs tried to carry [BYU] today, but we take pride in having guys who can pass, dribble and shoot; multiple guys who can play good defense, and we don't really have a lot of weak links in the chain on either end of the floor. So we're hoping to get more balance offensively. We needed it today."

The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Minnesota Golden Gophers will play for the Barclays Classic Championship this afternoon in a top-25 contest slated for a 4 p.m. CT tipoff at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York.

Crimson Tide Drops 2nd Consecutive Contest

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – How quickly an undefeated season can turn to consecutive losses. The season is young, and the Crimson Tide will bounce back, but the University of Alabama women's basketball will have to pull it together after falling in both games of the Puerto Rico Classico tournament. The latest loss was to Elon by five, 60-55. One really bright spot in the game, however, was senior Meoshonti Knight surpassing 1,000 points in her career during the tournament being held at Cardinal Gibbons High School yesterday.

Tide head coach Kristy Curry, commenting on Knight's accomplishment, commented, "She's (Meoshonti Knight) started for four years and has worked so hard, she's so coachable and I just want to give a congratulations to her on a tough day where our team didn't win. It is a bright spot to get over 1,000 points, I'm really proud of her.  She nearly had a double-double with eight rebounds, and down the stretch she really played hard for us."

Though Bama (4-2) suffered the loss to undefeated Elon (5-0), UA held the Phoenix to only 38 percent shooting, while forcing 22 turnovers.

Knight finished the game with 14 points, 11 coming in the fourth quarter, to go along with eight rebounds. Tide senior Hannah Cook banged in 13 points in the contest with senior Ashley Williams rounding out the double-digit scorers for Bama contributing 10 points and six rebounds herself.

The Crimson Tide will be back in action for another road game, with this one in Fort Worth, Texas on December 1st at Noon CT against TCU.

Revisiting The 2016 Iron Bowl

Crimson Tide Rolls Over Auburn Tigers
Completes 12-0 Regular Season

2016 Iron Bowl

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide overcame first half adversity, most of which by its own hands, to dash the hopes of the Auburn Tigers in the 81st Annual Iron Bowl held this year in Bryant-Denny Stadium in front of 101, 821 fans in beautiful Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Tigers drew first blood, and it still took awhile before the Tide began to roll, but eventually came rolling in as an unstoppable tsunami to drown the kitty cats from the Plains 30-12.

Alabama true freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts overcame two early-game interceptions to wow the crowd with 285 yards in a aerial attack that the Tigers really had no answer for. Then in the second half the ground game began chewing up yards that sent Auburn back on its heels. Gone is the Tiger's eight-game streak without allowing a rushing touchdown. Alabama ended that little pipe dream.

Alabama improves to 12-0 overall, 8-0 in the Southeastern Conference while the Auburn Tigers fell to 8-4 overall, 5-3 in the SEC. The top-ranked Tide only led by four points at halftime, 13-9, though holding a huge lop-sided statistical lead, over the 13th-ranked Tigers. Bama had 263 yards of total offense in the first half, to just 31 for Auburn. The Crimson Tide compiled 194 passing yards, 69 rushing yards as well as one touchdown and two field goals for that 13-9 lead. Auburn had four passing yards with 27 rushing yards. And first half first downs? Alabama had a huge 14 to one edge.
Plus, the Tide defense added another four quarters without allowing a touchdown, bring the total to just over 14.

Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban said, "We had some really, really challenging field position situations in this game, and our players responded really well to it."

Fumbles and interceptions in the game kept the boys from Bama in awkward positions offensively. Most teams would have struggled defensively as well considering the number of times the Tide gifted the Tigers with good field position, but the Alabama defense held, keeping the visitors out of its end zone for touchdowns no matter how far they ventured into the red zone. But, Hurts overcame those problems also, and completed a total of 27-of-36 passes and threw for two touchdowns giving Bama its third consecutive Iron Bowl victory for the first time since 1990-92.

Saban commented, "At halftime, I guess everybody thought I was going to throw a fit, but I told them, `Look guys, all we've got to do is go out there and play with some poise and confidence."

Additionally, Hurts rushed for 37 yards and a touchdown, plus he directed two straight touchdown drives in the third quarter. He ran for a 4-yard score on a drive heavily-infused by four Bo Scarbrough runs. Then on a fourth-and-4 play, he hit receiver ArDarius Stewart, who crossed the goal line on a 38-yard catch and dash giving the Tide a 27-9 lead. Scarbrough rushed for 90 yards while Stewart picked up 127 yards on 10 reception.

Concerning his touchdown scoring play, ArDarius Stewart said, "It was like two reads in one. If the guy is playing press, I had to slant it out; if the guy is playing soft, it was like a regular hitch. He came up, and I saw he was playing outside, so I had to go out a little bit, cut in and get open. Jalen (Hurts) threw a perfect ball, and I just turned it up the sideline, tried to tight rope it, and it worked out."

Alabama picked up a total of 501 yards in Saturday's contest, while limiting Auburn to 182. While the Tide broke the Tiger's streak of keeping teams out of its end zone via the rush, Auburn wasn't as fortunate to break the Tide's streak of holding teams out of the end zone. The Tigers weren't even able to muster a first down until nearly 25 minutes into the game and, with few exceptions, had no passing game.

Saban said, "I really can't say enough about the great feeling that I have in terms of the way our guys competed in the game today. This is a great win, and I want our players to enjoy it, but we also have a big challenge coming up next week. This is sort of like being in the playoffs, so we've got to play the game next week and we'll get ready for that starting on Monday and go from there."

Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn said, "Obviously, it was a tough loss for our team. I am proud of our guys, the way they competed. Our defense played extremely well until they got worn down. It really stands out to me that the time of possession is doubled. They just got worn down. Offensively, just didn't get first downs. Really just didn't get it done. You know, (we were) 2-of-12 on third downs, I really think that really caused the problem. Twenty plays in the first half. And really, if you look at it, 20 plays in the first half; even with 20 plays we had a chance. I mean we were right there in the game, we went three-and-out, I think they scored, and then it was kind of an uphill battle from there on. But third downs, we didn't hit explosive plays, defense was on the field too long. That was really the story of the day. Obviously, we've got players in there that are hurting, coaches are hurting. This is a tough one. We didn't play well. Give them credit. They're a good team. We really expected to play better, and we didn't."

First Quarter

The Crimson Tide outgained the Tigers by a whopping 160 yards to just 1 yard, yet led by only the slimmest of margins, 10-3. Bama broke the 3-3 deadlock on a 17-yard catch-and-run from Jalen Hurts to ArDarius Stewart with 2:49 remaining. The play capped a three-play 55-yard drive giving the Tide the lead.

Alabama had 8 first downs in the quarter to zero for Auburn. The Tide had a hard time holding onto the ball, fumbling three times but were at least to keep possession. Alabama was 1-for-3 in third down conversions while Auburn went 0-for-3.

Second Quarter

The Crimson Tide added another 103 yards of total offense to the talley in the second quarter, bringing its total offensive output to 263 yards as opposed to just 31 yards for the Tigers. By the half Alabama had 194 passing yards and 69 rushing yards as compared to just four passing yards and 27 rushing yards for Auburn. The Tide now led in first downs 14-1, as well as in total number of plays 44-20. Bama was 3-3 in the red zone, while Aubie never made it that far despite having good field position through much of the half. Alabama had zero points off turnovers in the half, while six of Auburn's nine points were directly related to Tide turnovers.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts now took sole possession of second place on the UA single-season TD responsibility list with 32. Blake Sims (2014) is first at 35. Additionally, Hurts moved to second on the Alabama single-season total offense list with 3,202 yards. Blake Sims (2014) is first with 3,837 yards.

With those lop-sided statistics one would have thought the Tide to lead by more than the 13-9 score.

Third Quarter

It was the third quarter where the Crimson Tide began to finally wrest control of the game from the Tigers. Alabama scored two touchdowns to go up 27-9 on Auburn, before the Tigers managed yet another field goal late to bring the score a bit closer at 27-12.

Fourth Quarter

Alabama owned the fourth quarter. Auburn was through scoring and the Tide added another three points to the final tally, but pretty much moved the ball at will in the final stanza. Bama freshman running back Joshua Jacobs took his opportunity to shine on a couple of big pickups, one being a 26-yard run and the other a 30-yard catch-and-run.

The Tide ate up nine minutes of clock-time keeping the ball away from the Tigers to secure the win. Near the end of the game you could see Nick Saban tell offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin that was enough and then took off his headset.

The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide, the undisputed champions of the SEC West, now faces the No. 15 Florida Gators in the SEC championship game in Atlanta, Georgia for the second consecutive year this next Saturday, December 3rd. The game will be televised by CBS beginning at 3 p.m. CT at the Georgia Dome.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida – Any loss is a tough loss. The first one of the season is extremely tough. The University of Alabama women's basketball team picked up its first loss of the season participating in the Puerto Rico Clasico tournament on Thursday afternoon at Cardinal Gibbons High School, Bama was bitten by the NC State Wolfpack 68-49.

Crimson Tide head coach Kristy Curry said, "We didn't play well, I thought we got dominated inside. We got outrebounded by 15, (Chelsea) Nelson had 18 (points) and 13 (rebounds), we can't have our post players getting beat down low like that.  We've got to learn from it and grow from it and bounce back tomorrow."

Bama senior Hannah Cook led UA with 17 points hitting five-of-nine shooting from the floor. Tide senior Meoshonti Knight had pumped in nine points and provided three assists. Ashley Knight added seven points while Ashley Williams contributed five.

Alabama forced 17 turnovers, but the Wolfpack continued to bang the boards and control the second half.

The Crimson Tide will fight on in the Puerto Rico Clasico today battling Elon at 4 p.m. CT.

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - The Alabama Crimson Tide football team continues to prepare for its in-state rival, fellow SEC West member and a top 10 team in the Auburn Tigers. Bama worked out for another two hours on Wednesday afternoon, practicing to slow down, if not stop, the sixth-ranked team in the College Football Playoff rankings who just happen to live down the road. The Tide practiced yesterday in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields on the UA campus.

For the first time since this season's opening contest with Florida State, Alabama's Christian Miller and Terrell Lewis were on the field practicing yesterday. Not just those two, but Mack Wilson who was injured during the clash with LSU was also hard at work at practice. It is hoped that three, or even one or two of them will be available for the Iron Bowl clash this Saturday, but head coach Nick Saban says he's unsure yet if that is possible. He said that all three are "able to practice to some degree," but no committing to whether or not any will see action this weekend. Regardless, it's good that the three are able to work out with team though all were wearing black non-contact jerseys.

Also present for the Wednesday practice session was left guard Ross Pierschbacher. He suffered a high ankle sprain against Mississippi State on November 11th, and was in a black non-contact jersey as well for his first practice back.

Also listed as a game-time decision is kicker Andy Pappanastos, unable to play in last Saturday's game versus Mercer, continues to work his was way back from a "slight" pulled muscle.

Star defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick was again at practice and working. He seems to be stronger and ready to play.

This will be the 82nd meeting between Alabama and Auburn, with the Crimson Tide holding the advantage, 45-35-1. Bama has won seven of the last nine contests, with four leading to a National Championship for UA. The Tide won the last meeting at Jordan-Hare Stadium in 2015 by a score of 29-13.

Alabama Volleyball Falls In 3 Sets At Missouri

COLUMBIA, Missouri – It was the final road match of 2017, and it didn't go exactly to script. The University of Alabama volleyball team fell in three set to Missouri on Wednesday evening.

It was a tough contest for the Crimson Tide (18-13, 6-11 SEC), struggling on offense and committing 21 hitting errors as well as picking up just 25 kills against the Tigers (20-10, 13-4 SEC). Bama sophomore Mahalia Swink picked up three of the team's service aces, a career best. Tide junior Quincey Gary led the back-row defense with 19 digs while sophomore Ginger Perinar led the offense with seven kills.

The Tigers committed 17 errors versus those 21 for the Tide, while producing 42 kills which far-outdistanced Bama's 25.

Alabama will host its final match of the regular season this Saturday, November 25th at Foster Auditorium facing the Texas A&M Aggies (8-15, 5-11 SEC) at Noon CT.

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – Another award. Another nomination for said award. The potential recipient? University of Alabama varsity sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts has been named as one of 10 semifinalists for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award according to an announcement made yesterday by SportTyler.

The Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award is given annually to the "top offensive player in NCAA Division I that exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell: integrity, performance, teamwork, sportsmanship, drive, community and tenacity." The recipient must have been born in the state of Texas, attended a Texas high school or attend a Texas junior college or university. Hurts fits the criteria. He is no stranger to the award, having been a finalist for the 2016 award.

Hurts has been phenomenal almost from the time he stepped onto the playing field. Take away the miscue in his first game coming in as relief in 2016, he immediately took the reigns of the Alabama football team has won every game but one during his tenure as the Tide quarterback. He already ranks among the top quarterbacks in Alabama football history, and is the school record-holder in quarterback rushing touchdowns (21) and ranks No. 2 in quarterback career rushing (1,640 yards) and career touchdown responsibility (58). Hurts is currently third in career total offense (6,248 yards), fifth in career touchdown passes (37) and ninth in passing yards (4,608). This season Hurts has completed 123-of-201 passes for 1,828 yards and 14 touchdowns with just one interception. He is also the Tide's second-leading rusher, having carried the pigskin 119 times advancing it 686 yards and scored eight touchdowns.

The finalists for the 2017 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award are scheduled to be announced on December 6th, with the winner to be announced on January 10, 2018 at the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Banquet in Tyler, Texas.

Saban Talks Iron Bowl, Injuries & More On Radio Show

Christian Miller, Terrell Lewis, Mack Wilson and Andy Pappanastos will all be game-time decisions for this Saturday's annual Iron Bowl clash between the University of Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers, according to UA football head coach Nick Saban. Bama's top pachyderm says that practice doesn't necessarily translate into playing this Saturday. Saban says their availability will be determined by how they progress throughout the remainder of the week. He said it could be Saturday before he makes a decision.

Saban offered up praise for J.C. Hassenauer, saying the young man has done a good job for two weeks filling in for Ross Pierschbacher. Saban commented that Hassenauer has "definitely taken advantage of his opportunity."

Coach offered up that Auburn takes advantage of coverage situations and has been able to make a lot of plays down field in the passing game.

Saban also stressed ball security and how important it is in a game like this huge rivalry clash. He said "you're going to win on fundamental execution."

The freshman class received praise from Saban, saying this group has surprised with its ability to adapt, adjust and perform with consistency. He also commented that while all of this group may not be star players, these youngsters helped to improve the overall depth of the Tide and "make the back end of our team better."

Saban shared that he always speaks to the team on Friday about the week and the upcoming game. He said that the talk usually lasts approximately 10 minutes, and shows the team a "good, bad and ugly film" on Mondays while hashing the previous week's game.

The Tide's head man brought up the dedication and work-ethic of Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts, saying that the starting QB always visits him on Sunday to take a look at the previous day's game film to find areas on which he can improve.

Saban stressed that his whole thing with this team was directing the team's focus to where it needed to be and cautioning each one not to get caught up in the external hype.

Game Prep Underway For Crimson Tide
In Crucial Iron Bowl Contest With Auburn

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - The prep is real folks. This coming Saturday's game decides the winner of the SEC West and the right to represent the division in the Southeastern Conference Championship in December. It determines the bragging rights in the state of Alabama for the next year. It is the pride of victory for the next year versus the agony of defeat. The Crimson Tide is working hard to make sure there is no agony at the end of the Saturday matchup.

The University of Alabama football team was in full-blown practice mode on Tuesday afternoon, working in full pads for two hours at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields on Tuesday in preparation for this weekend's rivalry game with little brother, the No. 6 Auburn Tigers.

Bama is fine-tuning a game plan in order to slow down, if not stop, a Tiger rushing attack currently No. 4 in the SEC that averages 244.0 yards per game. And don't forget the third-ranked Tiger defensive front, looking to shut down Jalen Hurts and company in the run game.

Minkah Fitzpatrick was looking good, strong in practice yesterday in his recovery from a hamstring injury. Neither Christian Miller nor Terrell Lewis were spotted during the media viewing period.

This will be the 82nd meeting between the Tide and Tigers, with Bama holding a 45-35-1 (.555) lead in a series that dates back to the 1893 season. UA has won seven of the last nine meetings. The game will air live on CBS beginning at 2:30 p.m. CT from Jordan-Hare Stadium, with Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Allie LaForce covering the action.

25th-Ranked Crimson Tide Edges
UT Arlington In Ugly Win

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – Despite the 29 points poured in by Bama freshman Collin Sexton, The University of Alabama men's basketball team had to fight and claw its way to a one-point back-and-forth ugly win 77-76 in Coleman Coliseum on Tuesday night.

Crimson Tide men's basketball head coach Avery Johnson said, "This is a great win for our program and team. In the past, there were a lot of times we were disappointed sitting here at this podium talking to (the media). By any stretch of the imagination it wasn't pretty, but we did whatever it took to win the game. We had a couple of breakdowns in the first half, but we changed some stuff at halftime. We had much better effort, especially on the defensive end of the floor against a really good UT Arlington team that's, barring any foreseen circumstances, going to make the (NCAA) tournament. They're probably going to win their league. They've got two of the best players in their league in (Erick) Neal and (Kevin) Hervey, who can play anywhere in the country.

"These two young guys (Donta Hall and Collin Sexton) had an amazing game for us in different times, and we're just awfully proud of our team."

Collin Sexton, with his 29-point performance, became the first UA men's basketball freshman in the modern era at Alabama to have scored 20-plus points in three consecutive games. This is the first time, however, the feat has been accomplished on the varsity team, as the last time it occurred when freshmen had their own team. Back during the 1971-72 season Charles Cleveland pumped in 20-plus points in each of his first three games marking the last time it had been done.

The Tide improves to 4-0 after last night's victory. Bama freshman Herbert Jones led the Tide defense stealing four from UTA, drew four charges, hauled down nine defensive rebounds as well as scoring seven points and providing three assists on the night. Junior Donta Hall contributed eight points, five boards and two blocks on the night, as did freshman John Petty and junior Avery Johnson Jr.

The Crimson Tide goes on the road to battle BYU on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. CT in Brooklyn, New York.  The game will be part of the Barclays Center Classic and can be viewed on Stadium TV via Facebook Live.

Crimson Tide Prepares For Annual Iron Bowl

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - The University of Alabama football team is getting ready for its annual matchup with Auburn in the 2017 Iron Bowl classic. The Crimson Tide hit the practice field with temperatures in the low to mid-50s yesterday for a 75-minute session in shorts and helmets on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

Alabama is well aware of the improved Tiger team, seeing as Auburn knocked off then CFP No. 1 Georgia just a couple of weeks ago. The Tiger rushing attack ranks fourth in the Southeastern Conference, averaging 244.0 yards per game. Then there's Auburn's defense to heed, with a line that ranks third in the SEC in rush defense to add to the Bama prep work.

Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick was back on the field to practice on Monday. He missed the game against Mercer this past Saturday recovering from a hamstring injury but will be ready to go against Auburn. His left leg, incidentally, was wrapped.

Terrell Lewis (elbow), Christian Miller (biceps) and Mack Wilson (foot) still weren't practicing and need to be medically cleared.

This will be the 82nd Iron Bowl contest, and will be held this year at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama. The Crimson Tide leads the series with a ten-game advantage of 45-35-1 in a series dating back to 1893. Bama has won seven of the last nine games, with four of those leading to a national championship for Alabama. The game will be broadcast live on CBS with a 2:30 p.m. CT start scheduled. The game will air live on CBS with Brad Nessler handling play-by-play duties, Gary Danielson on analysis and Allie LaForce walking the sidelines.

University of Alabama football head coach Nick Saban met with the press on Monday afternoon as is his custom. Here is his opening statement:

"I don't think many people are interested in talking about the last game, but as I said afterwards, we played to a standard in the game, which is what we wanted our players to do. We wanted to play well for the seniors, which is what I think everybody responded to and did. We got an opportunity to play a lot of players and that will certainly help the development of those players and maybe add to their ability to play winning football on a consistent basis if needed in the future.

"You guys got the players of the week and obviously J.C. Hassenauer being the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week is great for him. From an injury standpoint, Minkah (Fitzpatrick) will practice. Andy (Pappanastos) will be day-to-day. Terrell Lewis and Christian Miller are in the functional phase of rehab and are not cleared medically to play. Mack Wilson has not practiced yet and has not been medically cleared to play, so whatever is out there, I'm giving you the facts from here. I'm not saying that those guys are out for the game and I'm not able to say whether they'll be able to play in the game.

"The most important thing in games like this is that players can stay focused on the things they need to do to prepare. Stay focused on what's happening now so you can utilize each day in preparation and practice so that you can have the poise to execute in what's going to be a big game. It's going to be an emotional game and there are going to be a lot of people talking about it, but we need to focus on what we need to do to prepare in the game.

"The Iron Bowl is a tremendous rivalry game and there's a lot of passion on both sides. Lots of people are interested in it and it's got lots of ramifications this year. As a competitor, this is always a game you look forward to having the opportunity to play in. Our team has put themselves in a position where they have an opportunity to accomplish something in terms of taking the next step that we need to take to be able to have a chance to win the West or have an opportunity to play in the SEC Championship Game.

"Gus (Malzahn) has done a phenomenal job, in my opinion. His team has improved throughout the course of the year and is playing as well as anybody in the country right now; all you've got to do is look at statistical information. They're ranked very highly in offense; they're ranked very highly in defense; and they've got some real special people on special teams, including the kicker Daniel Carson, who is weapon himself. They're very disciplined and they don't get a lot of penalties. Jarrett Stidham, their quarterback, has made a lot of explosive plays. Not only do you have to stop their running game with Kerryon Johnson, but also vertically down the field, the way they've been able to attack people and make explosive plays with their receivers is very complimentary to the balance that they create on offense. This is all around an outstanding team and obviously one of the top-ranked teams in the country for good reason because that's how they play."

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – University of Alabama men's basketball freshman guard John Petty has been named SEC Freshman of the Week following his record-breaking performance last Friday. Then announcement was made yesterday afternoon by the Southeastern Conference office.

Petty averaged 22 points, five rebounds and two assists in wins against Lipscomb and Alabama A&M. in Bama's opening week of play. It is the first freshman weekly honor for any Crimson Tide player since Braxton Key back on January 30, 2017.

In Friday's contest with Alabama A&M, Petty set a new school record hitting 10 three-pointers to propel the Crimson Tide past A&M 104-67. Those 10 three-pointers tied Petty for fourth place all-time in SEC history and is the first time an SEC player has scored 10 or more three-pointers in a game since Michael Frazier of Florida in 2014. His 76.9 percent shooting percentage from beyond the arc was the highest in SEC history for any player who has made at least 10 threes in a contest. He is also the first Alabama player to go for 30 points since Retin Obasohan scored 35 points at LSU on February 17, 2016.
