Volleyball Falls To Mizzou On Sunday

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – The University of Alabama volleyball fell on Sunday for the first time at home this season to the Missouri Tigers in three sets by scores of 17-25, 15-25 and 25-27. With the loss the Crimson Tide falls to 12-5 overall, 1-3 SEC. The Tigers improved to 10-7 overall, 3-1 SEC.

Bama senior Leah Lawrence  led the Tide with four blocks, giving her 400 career blocks thus far. Lawrence is only the fifth player in Alabama volleyball history to reach the mark.

Alabama will travel to Lexington, Kentucky to take on the tenth-ranked Wildcats (11-2, 2-0 SEC) on Friday, October 6th with the match scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. CT. Then the Tide swings slightly south from there on Sunday to battle Tennessee (8-4, 1-2 SEC) with a 12:30 p.m. CT start time.

Bama Men's Basketball Mini-Plan Tickets On Sale Now

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama – The University of Alabama athletics TIDE PRIDE/Ticket Office has announced men's basketball mini-plans for the upcoming 2017-18 season are on sale as of today.

The Crimson Tide 2017-18 men's basketball season will feature the Five-Game mini ticket plan that will cost $99 and includes a ticket to a total of five regular season games, including Auburn, Tennessee, Oklahoma or Texas, Mississippi State or Arkansas and UCF or Rhode Island.

In addition to the mini plan, season ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to reserve additional seats for any home game, plus the Vulcan Classic, before the general public. Season ticket holders can purchase additional tickets through the online account or by calling (205) 348-BAMA.
Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Oct. 23. In addition, tickets to the Vulcan Classic (vs. Texas), which will be played in Birmingham, Alabama on December 22nd at Legacy Arena will also go on October 23rd. Fans can purchase those tickets via Ticketmaster.com.
