TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - The Wednesday practice for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team was the last viewing period for the media prior to the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta, Georgia this coming Saturday.

The Bama boys methodically went through their drills, position workouts and pressed on in narrowing the focus of "football" to "FSU football." The Tide worked for approximately two hours yesterday in helmets, shoulder pads and shorts in the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility yesterday. Today's practice will be the last at The Capstone before departing for Atlanta tomorrow. Practice time today is set for 3:30 p.m. CT.

Though his leg is still wrapped, Bama running back Najee Harris was looking good in yesterday's practice and is at or near full speed. Josh Jacobs, however, still appeared to be limited in what he could do, or was allowed to do. Raekwon Davis was at practice and did some work yesterday. He appeared to be getting around well following this past weekend's injury to his leg due to a stray bullet.

In yesterday's press conference, Alabama head football coach Nick Saban talked a little about the injury situation. He did mention that if Jacobs didn't practice today (Thursday) then he would not see action on Saturday against the Seminoles. Davis is still considered "day-to-day," so it will more than likely be a Saturday decision on whether or not to play him. He remains a "medical decision." (View press conference below.)

The No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide will face off with the Florida State Seminoles this Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game. The game is set for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Maria Taylor and Tom Rinaldi calling the game.
