TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - The University of Alabama football team continues to prepare for its season-opening battle with the Florida State Seminoles this weekend. The Crimson Tide worked out in full pads on Tuesday afternoon, getting in another two-hour practice session that started at 3:30 at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.

Everyone knows that the Tide has four players that have been suffering through various leg injuries, some more serious than the others. However, most have been listed as "day-to-day" by the Bama head man. Raekwon Davis is recovering from a gunshot wound to the right leg. The police spokesperson said that it was not a serious injury. Josh Jacobs, Najee Harris and Christian Miller all have hamstring problems.

This practice session was the 23rd of the fall, and only two more practices remain before Bama hits the road to Atlanta, Georgia. The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide will battle the  No. 3 Florida State Seminoles this Saturday, September 2nd. The two will duke it out at the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. The game broadcast is scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT start on the ABC Network. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Maria Taylor and Tom Rinaldi will be making the call.
Bama has two more scheduled practices before the trip to Atlanta on Friday. Today and tomorrow the practices are scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. start. Alabama head coach Nick Saban will meet with the press following this afternoon's practice.
