Alabama Cheerleading & Mascot Camps

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - The University of Alabama has set its cheerleading and mascot camps for 2017. Here are a list of the camps that have been set.

Cheer One - Tuesday, May 30th - Friday, June 2nd
Cheer Two - Monday, June 19th - Thursday, June 22nd
Cheer Three - Monday, June 26th - Thursday, June 29th
Cheer Four - Tuesday, July 11th - Friday, July 14th

Mascot instruction will be available at all four cheer camps.

Nick Saban Football Camp

According to RollTide.com, the Crimson Tide Foundation/Nick Saban Football Camp is a non-contact, skills teaching camp that is designed to give each athlete a solid foundation in the football fundamentals needed to excel at his position. Led by University of Alabama football head coach Nick Saban and his staff, each player will receive hands-on instruction as he participates in drills and practice simulating those of the Crimson Tide Football Team. As a camper you will receive the same expert coaching that every Alabama player receives.

Here is a breakdown of the camps and dates:


  • Kicking Camp: June 3
  • High School I: June 4 - 6
  • Youth: June 11 - 14
  • OL/DL I: June 17
  • High School II: July 16 - 18
  • OL/DL II: July 22

Alabama Wide Receiver Gehrig Dieter Will Join
Kansas City Chiefs As Free Agent

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama - In a tweet this weekend, Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver Gehrig Dieter has announced he will be joining the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League as a free agent. 

Dieter started in 10 games last season for the Tide, catching 15 passes for 214 yards. A total of 11 of the 15 passes were for first downs or touchdowns.

Dieter was a graduate transfer, coming to Alabama for the one season from Bowling Green. In 2015 he caught 94 passes for 1, 033 yards and 10 touchdowns. He was named second team All-MAC (Mid-America Conference).
