Congratulations Are In Order; 2 Daytona Beach Players Receive Bama Offers; RB Cam Akers Visits Bama; 3-Star DL Kobe Jones Gets Offer

Congratulations are in order this morning.

First, thank you and congratulations to Alabama softball head coach Patrick Murphy and all the Lady Tide. We appreciate the fun, excitement, your effort, and memorable moments of the 2015 softball season. You are always number one with us! Roll Tide!!

Next, happy birthday to Alabama living legend, Joe Namath.
Joe turned 72 and is still as funny and vibrant as ever. We'll always remember those passes where he seemed to hang in the air forever as he delivered the payload to his target, his being in the doghouse and benched by Paul Bear Bryant, his leadership and abilities on the field (for both the University of Alabama and the New York Jets), his panty hose commercial,  and his promise/prediction of a victory in Super Bowl III. Of course the Jets did win...a 16-7 upset win over the Baltimore Colts.

Congratulations with much luck and good fortune to Kristen Saban Setas, daughter of University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban. She was married Saturday to Adam Setas, and later enjoyed fireworks, Rolls Royce ride through Bryant-Denny Stadium complete with fireworks, and over-all a night to remember with family and close friends.

The offers just keep pouring in for defensive lineman recruit Kobe Jones. Reportedly Jones holds more than a dozen offers, and received his latest from Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.

The 6' 4", 270-lb defensive end was at summer camp at Bama when he impressed the head coach and got a little one-on-one talk time and the offer.
