Tide Women's Golf 2nd At Ruth's Chris Tarheel Invitational

After ending day two in a tie for first place, the Alabama women's golf team finished second at the Ruth's Chris Tarheel Invitational yesterday at the Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

The Crimson Tide (285-284-290/859) finished second at five-under par to earn its third top-two finish in three tournaments this fall. 

It was sophomore Lauren Stephenson leading the day for the Crimson Tide, finishing second at nine-under par (68-70-69/207), her second runner-up finish in three outings in 2016.

Alabama Softball Wins Sweep In Sunday Doubleheader

The University of Alabama women's softball team walked away with another doubleheader yesterday. The Crimson Tide defeated Alabama State 9-0 in game one, then later 14-0 in game two.

Sydney Littlejohn threw a complete game shutout in game one. It was Madi Moore with 4.0 shutout innings in the second game, with shutout relief provided by Alexis Osorio.

Bama Volleyball Falls To Missouri In 5 Sets

Tough loss yesterday for the University of Alabama volleyball team, losing to the Missouri Tigers in five sets 3-2. Alabama falls to 14-6, 3-4 SEC while Missouri improves to 16-3, 7-0 SEC.

Osama Falls In Men's Tennis Semifinals

University of Alabama men's tennis sophomore Mazen Osama was the lone winner yesterday for the Crimson Tide in the 2016 ITA Southern Regional Championships at the Yarbrough Tennis center in Auburn, Alabama. He lost, however, in the semifinal round.

Tide head coach George Husack said, "There were a bunch of matches in a short period of time this weekend, and we showed improvement from the last tournament."
