Day two of practice for the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team is in the books. Friday's practice lasted approximately two hours in helmets and shorts on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. Twenty-six more practices are still to come before the opening of the 2016 season.

Friday's practice began at 2:30 p.m. CT, as will today's third practice session. Tomorrow's session will also begin at 2:30 p.m. with that added twist of the Crimson Tide's annual Fan Day. Tomorrow's practice session will take place inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Again, it will be a two-hour session, then the team and coaches will sign autographs and talk with fans for approximately 45 minutes beginning at 4:45 p.m. CT.

There were some changes from day one to day two along the offensive line with some of the young men playing in different positions. Lining up five across, Jonah Williams was with the first group in the right tackle slot, with Bradley Bozeman playing next to him at right guard.

Lining up with the second team at right tackle was Korren Kirven. Over on the left was Matt Womack with the second group at left tackle. Cam Taylor was lined up at right guard and J.C. Hassenauer at center.

The third group sported Scott Lashley at right tackle, Deonte Brown at right guard, Josh Casher at center, Brandon Kennedy at left guard and Chris Owens at left tackle.

As far as the quarterback situation is concerning, nothing new to report there. Still working, still sweating, still with the drills and taking snaps along with handing off the the ball and throwing the ball. No real leader at present, though all are looking good.

Running back Bo Scarbrough showed no lingering effects nor the return of cramps he suffered on day one of practice. He looked good...and looked big. Quarterback David Cornwell seemed to be moving well, taking his limited reps and tossing the ball well yesterday.

The University of Alabama Crimson Tide football program attracts interest from the high school elite. Bossier City (Louisiana) Parkway receiver Terrace Marshall, a 2018 five-star prospect, recently attended camped at the Capstone. It was his second trip to Tuscaloosa since Junior Day in February.

In an interview with BamaOnLine, Marshall said, "It was nice. I learned a lot from Coach (Billy) Napier and I talked with Coach (Nick) Saban. It was good talking with him. We were just getting updated on each other telling him how I've been, him telling me how he's been. Just chopping it up a little. The camp overall was great. Going to Alabama is always going to be worth the trip it's a good school."

Concerning getting the opportunity to be coached by Napier and what he might have picked up from the coach, Marshall commented, "Really everything. Techniques, coming out of my breaks faster, the basics of being a wide receiver."

Concerning offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin's offense, Marhall said, "I like the way they throw the ball. I like the route system. I watched them last season and saw how Calvin Ridley got the ball. They've got ideas."

Concerning Alabama, Marshall commented, "They're definitely one of the top (schools). They're going to be one of the top in the end. I love their facilities, and I love the coaches."
