The American Volleyball Coaches Association yesterday announced their All-South Region honorees, and two from the Alabama Crimson Tide volleyball team were among that elite group. Alabama junior Krystal Rivers sophomore Kat Hutson both were selected.

This is the third time Rivers has been selected, making her the first three-time All-Region honoree in Crimson Tide history. This is Hutson's second consecutive season to receive the honor. Alabama now has multiple All-South Region award winners for three consecutive seasons. Both Rivers and Hutson were named All-SEC earlier this season.

Rivers has had an outstanding season. She finished with a team-leading 451 kills, 25 aces and 84 blocks. Hutson finished second with 394 kills.
