University of Alabama Crimson Tide head football coach Nick Saban will step to the podium for the 15th time at SEC Media Days tomorrow morning in Hoover, Alabama. Pretty much all ears in the state of Alabama, as well as most of those of the SEC coaches and fans, will be attentive to what he has to say. Saban begins his 10th season at the helm of Alabama football, and the 15th season in the Southeastern Conference (LSU 2000-04).
Expect a myriad of questions, ranging from who the starting quarterback will be this season to satellite camps to his suggestion that college football may need a commisioner. Oh, and probably one or two dealing with discipline, mainly concerning two players recently having faced charges in Louisiana who shall remain nameless for this particular article...but expect it.
The Crimson Tide football program has had three players announce their intentions to transfer from the
team, with those being linebacker Adonis Thomas and safeties Shawn Burgess-Becker and
Maurice Smith. So one might imagine that the issue of players quitting may be a question.
Also scheduled to speak and answer questions representing the Crimson Tide tomorrow are Jonathan Allen, O.J. Howard and Eddie Jackson.
