Redshirt Freshman LB Adonis Thomas Transferring

Though no reason was giving for his decision, Alabama Crimson Tide redshirt freshman inside linebacker Adonis Thomas, who joined Alabama as a four-star recruit last year, will transfer to another school. Thomas joined the Tide as a four-star recruit last season out of Central Gwinnett High School.
Thomas was originally committed to Florida prior to the firing of then head coach Will Muschamp, now the head coach for the South Carolina Gamecocks. New Georgia head coach Kirby Smart originally recruited him to Tuscaloosa.
The 6' 2", 230-pounder did not see any game time last season.
Thomas plans to play at a junior college for the 2016 season and then transfer to another school in January. As a senior for the Black Knights he recorded a team-high 124 tackles in 2014.
Thomas had offers from numerous other schools including Florida, Georgia, Auburn, Florida State and Ohio State.

Four-star safety Montaric Brown was supposed to make his decision known yesterday afternoon as to the college for which he would be playing. When all was said and done, Brown tweeted that he was going to wait until the end of this month and allow his family to participate in the decision.

The 6' 1", 175-pounder had narrowed his selection to five schools. It is not known that if this delay and involving his family will change that. His five selections were Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU and Oklahoma State.

No. 3 JUCO Prospect Headed To SEC West

Concerning defensive end Isaiah Buggs from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, one thing is fairly certain. He will be playing for one of the teams from the SEC West.
The young man unveiled his updated top five list yesterday afternoon on Twitter, and all the schools were from the Southeastern Conference...and all were from the Western Division. In no particular order, Buggs' top five are Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M. In his tweet, Buggs said, "Thanks to all the schools for the opportunity."
Buggs has become one of the most sought-after players in the country after an outstanding freshman season. He was responsible for 59 tackles (eight for
loss) and four sacks. The 247Sports Composite
ranks him as a four-star prospect and the No. 3 overall junior college
player in the nation.
Alabama offered Buggs back in February for the class of 2017.

Allen, Howard & Jackson To Speak At SEC Media Days
SEC Media Days begins next week, and here's a look at the players that will be appearing for The University of Alabama Crimson Tide on Wednesday morning, July 13th.
Junior defensive lineman Jonathan Allen will be on hand this next Wednesday. Allen comes from
Leesburg, Virginia and stands 6 feet, 3 inches and weighs in at 272 pounds. Allen has been first-team All-SEC the last two seasons. He ranked second in the SEC last year with 12 sacks.
Senior tight end O.J. Howard will be around for some questions. Howard stands 6' 6" and weighs 242 pounds. Last season he had 38 receptions for 602 yards and two touchdowns.
Senior defensive back Eddie Jackson from Lauderdale Lakes, Florida will be there. He stands 6 feet even, and weighs in at 194 pounds. Jackson was tied for the SEC lead with six interceptions after moving from cornerback to safety during the spring. Two of the interceptions were returned for touchdowns.

UK Returns 1,000 Tickets For Tide-Wildcats Game
The University of Kentucky has returned more than 1,000 unsold tickets for this falls Alabama Crimson Tide-Kentucky Wildcats football game. It's the first football trip to Tuscaloosa for the Cats since 2008.
The university returned more than one thousand tickets for the homecoming
game set for October 1st in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Those seats have now been placed on sale for
the general public.
Tickets for three non-conference home games are also available through the University of Alabama.
Several thousand seats for the Western Kentucky (September 10), Kent State
(September 24) and Chattanooga (November 19) games are still available. The non-SEC tickets
come with a $10 voucher for concessions or souvenirs.
