Defensive Tackle Quinnen Williams To Announce Tuesday
Defensive lineman prospect Quinnen Williams is set to make the announcement as to which college will get his services Tuesday at 9 AM CDT at Wenoah High School. His three choices are Alabama, Auburn, and Mississippi State.
The three-star prospect is a 6' 4", 265-pound defensive tackle. He is the number 33 player at his position according to 247Sports Composite. Williams previously had been an Auburn commit for more than four months, but reopened his recruitment on June 5th.

Crimson Tide Athletics In Top 10%
For the seventh time in the past ten years the University of Alabama Athletics Department has been ranked in the top 25 of All NCAA Division I athletics programs in both the Learfield Sports Director's Cup and the Capital One Cup.
University of Alabama Athletic Director Bill Battle stated, " I'm proud of the way our teams continue to thrive in the competitive arena. A total of nine of our teams finished in the top-20 nationally, including four -- football, gymnastics, softball and men's swimming and diving -- that finished in the top-10. I'm equally proud of the success our students continue to earn in the classroom and the time and effort they devote to helping make the world around them a better place."
The Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings, begun in the 1993-94
academic year, encompass the combined men's and women's programs.
According to RollTide.com, Alabama finished the 2014-15 academic year ranked 25th out of 289 schools in the all-sports rankings. In the Directors' Cup, 20 total teams (10 men and 10 women) can be scored for the final standings. The Crimson Tide has 21 teams (9 men and 12 women) in 17 sports programs. Stanford, this year's winner and the winner of the last 21 Directors' Cups, fields 37 total varsity teams.
315 points were picked up in the spring by Alabama, with another 282 points in the winter standings, and 158 points in the fall in the Learfield rankings. The SEC led all conferences with seven teams finishing in the top-25. Incidentally, all 14 SEC schools were in the Top 66 overall.
The Capital One Cup is now in its fifth year, and Alabama's men and women are both ranked in the top-35. On the strength of football finishing fourth, swimming and diving in tenth, the men end up at No. 30. The women were 32nd after top-10 finishes by gymnastics in fourth place and softball coming in sixth.

Three Earn Top-15 In Track & Field
Three University of Alabama sophomores have earned top-15 finishes at the USA Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. The meet was held recently at Hayward Field.
The 2015 Long Jump Champion, Quanesha Burks, finished sixth. Her best jump was her fourth of six at 22 feet, one inch.
Hayden Reed posted a second place finish in the discuss at 195 feet, six inches to finish 10th. Jermiah Green placed 14th in the triple jump at 49 feet, one inch on his third jump.
The USATF Junior Championships were running along with the national championships, and freshman Haley Teel placed 15th in the shot put with her best throw of 44 feet, three quarter inches.
