Alabama's 2017 Golden Flake A-Day Game is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, April 22nd, with a start time of 2 p.m. CT scheduled at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day Game will be broadcast live on ESPN for the second-consecutive and is free to the public. Joe Tessitore, Joey Galloway and Kirk Herbstreit will be handling the call from the sidelines. Laura Rutledge will join the men on the sidelines providing more game information.
As in past years the first-team offense and second-team defense will make up one team, and the first-team defense and second-team offense will make up the other.
The format for the game itself tomorrow is much like a regular-season game, with a few minor variations primarily regarding the game clock. The game will consist of four 15-minute quarters with a running clock. The clock will be stopped only following scoring plays, penalties and changes of possession. However, regular clock rules will be used during the final four minutes of the second quarter and the fourth quarter.
Four players will not participate in tomorrow's contest. Running back Bo Scarbrough, linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton, running back Damien Harris and running back B.J. Emmons are all recovering from injuries and will watch the game from the sidelines.
Alabama head coach Nick Saban said that he was encouraged by the energy displayed in the Thursday practice session. He also said he was pleased with the progress of all three quarterbacks during the spring sessions.
In the interest of enhancing existing security measures at games, a clear bag policy will be in effect.

- An approved logo no larger than 4.5" x 3.4" may be displayed on one side of a permissible clear bag.
