Despite what the charges are being called, which we won't bother to again mention here, Alabama's Cyrus Jones is being looked down upon right now for the charges against him. Yes, he did wrong. But did he do what the charges has led most to believe?
Domestic violence is wrong. Nuff said.
From all reports, what "allegedly" has occurred is that Jones threw the woman's cell phone and verbally "abused" the woman. No actual report available right now on the words he used.
If this is true, he did not touch the woman. Yet the charges make it sound as though he did. Surely this can be concluded quickly. Or at least in some manner made clear.

Softball
University of Alabama women's softball (38-11, 14-7 SEC) concludes the regular season with a 3-game road trip to face the Arkansas Razorbacks (16-34, 1-20 SEC) beginning Friday at Bogle Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Crimson Tide is coming off a big series victory against Tennessee this past weekend, taking two of the three contests. Bama has taken six of its last seven series games.
Currently third in the SEC, Bama trails only Florida and Auburn. The Gators are 16-4 in the SEC, while the Tigers stand at 16-5. The LSU Tigers are tied with Bama for third with the same 14-7 record.
Game one is Friday, May 1 at 6 PM CDT. Saturday's contest is at 8 PM CDT and will be broadcast on ESPNU. The third and final game will be at 2 PM CDT on Sunday, May 3.

Soccer
New Alabama head soccer coach Wes Hart has wasted no time kicking things off in fine style at UA. Hart has announced the soccer program is now accepting applications/registration for four 2015 camps as part of the new Roll Tide Soccer Academy.
Hart, along with assistant coach Jerrod Roh, will host a Day Camp from June 1-4, and an Overnight Camp on June 30-July 3. There will also be a pair of two-day ID Camps scheduled for June 5-6 and July 31-August 1. Hart says professional goalkeeper training will be provided at each camp.
Enrollees will find that the Alabama Soccer Stadium and University of Alabama Campus Recreational Division provide world-class facilities for soccer training and other activities. Besides t he University of Alabama coaching staff and players, there will also be other high-level coaches and players to provide the most rewarding soccer experience possible.

Baseball
The University of Alabama Crimson Tide and the Arkansas Razorbacks face off 77th time this evening. The series only dates back to 1992, when the Razorbacks first joined the Southeastern Conference.
The Razorbacks didn't play a mid-week game, but is coming off a weekend that saw the Razorbacks take two of three games from Mississippi State in Fayetteville. Arkansas won the first two games before falling falling in the finale with a 2-1 loss on Sunday. Including the series victory against State, Arkansas has claimed series wins in each of its last five conference games.
Bama will continue with its rotation from the past two conference series, starting off the first of the three games with senior left-hander Taylor Guilbeau on the mound for Thursday's opener. The Tide will then follow with freshman right-hander Jake Walters and wrap up the series with sophomore right-hander Geoffrey Bramblett on Saturday.
The Hogs will send a right-handers to the mound for the three-game series. Arkansas will send junior Trey Killian to the mound on Thursday, sophomore Dominic Taccolini on Friday, and finally the finale features freshman Keaton McKinney on the mound.
The three games feature numerous promotions. Thursday and Friday are both scheduled for post-game fireworks. Friday also allows fans the option of buying four general admission tickets for $20. Friday is also a "Dollar Dog" night, with $1 hot dogs for all fans. The finale will feature a pregame concert by the Whiskey River Band. Saturday is also youth day, with the first 100 kids (12 and under) through the gate receiving eye black. Following the conclusion of the game, kids can run the bases and get autographs from the team.
Following the three games with Arkansas, the Crimson Tide hosts Alabama A&M for a doubleheader this coming Tuesday. The double-header was rescheduled from March 10. The two teams will meet for the fourth and fifth times in the history of the two programs. The Crimson Tide own the all-time advantage, 3-0.
